Holiday Store Hours

We will be open this week on Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday from 10am to 8pm. Friday from 10am to 5pm. We are CLOSED on Christmas Eve. We will reopen on Wednesday, December 28 at 10am.

Consignment or Thrift: What's The Difference?

There is a difference between consignment shops and thrift stores. In a nutshell, consignment shops take in select items, resell them and pay the consignor a commission, usually 40-50% of the sale price. On the other hand, thrift stores, usually operated by a charity, accept donated items and resell them to raise money. Take A Look Around the Shop

         There's a lot to see in our little 700 square foot shop. Here is just a small sample.

Need glasses? Here's a set of 6 etched wine glasses,
a set of 6 cordials and a pair of weighty champagne flutes.



A set of beautiful Lenox canisters, a dozen hand-painted
wine glasses and a Mikasa candy bowl.



At left is a rare Hull Pottery planter. In the foreground is a
Fenton cobalt blue glass bell. Also on this shelf is a Limoges
plate, a vintage Bavarian made bowl and a McCoy Pottery
watering can.



This interesting figural mirror belongs on a pedastal.

But for now, she remaind on our floor.



Welcome to A Beautiful Find

A Beautiful Find is now open at 291R Bloomfield Avenue, Caldwell, NJ. We carry a variety of gently used upscale home decor, collectibles, antiques and vintage items on consignment. With Christmas fast approaching, the shop is filled with holiday items including ornaments from Waterford, Ashton-Drake Galleries, Danbury Mint, and, of course, Hallmark. If you're looking for items for under the tree, we have a variety of Nascar diecast cars for boys, and a selection of beautiful collector Barbie dolls for girls. We have lots of giftware and figurines from Lenox, including a beautiful set of characters from the Wizard of Oz, and a variety of Lenox Legendary Princesses. In addition to all of the holiday items available, we have crystal, silverplate, glassware, dinnerware, lamps, women's handbags (some used , some new) and a gorgeous vintage vanity table.
