I've been neglecting the blog somewhat for a variety of reasons. The most serious, perhaps, was an auto accident that took put me out of action for a bit. We are heading to Florida for some R&R and will reopen on August 2. Meanwhile, here are a few items that we've taken in over the past few weeks.
Campell's Soup collectible porcelain with original "soup can" packaging.
Hammered metal purse with inset stones, made in India.
Brand new with tags attached, Tommy Hilfiger handbag.
Heavy brass doorknocker is one of several in stock, from Michael Healy Designs. These retail for $150 and up. Our price is $75.
We have a variety of pottery from both the American Southwest as well as Scandanavia. This piece is an oil lamp. Simply pull the wicks up through the stems and light it up!
Finally, a pair of Syroco bookends. Made of a material that resembles carved wood, Syroco was popular in the 1930s. Although these are probably not vintage, they will bring a distinguished look to your den or library.
Please stop in at A Beautiful Find after August 2nd to see these and many more interesting items for the home.
